Sunrisers and Essex Cricket are excited to release details of a ticket ballot for schools and local groups, which will enable them to watch the final match of Sunrisers’ Charlotte Edwards Cup campaign for free this summer.
Sunrisers will face Western Storm at the Cloud County Ground in Chelmsford on Wednesday 19 June 2024, with the game starting at 11.30am. It’s 20 overs per side, so play is scheduled to conclude around 2.30pm.
This is a fantastic opportunity to watch elite women’s cricket, with a host of big name stars set to be on show.
Any social groups, as well as Primary and Secondary Schools from around the region, are invited to apply for tickets, with the initial ballot closing on Friday 22 March. We will then get in touch with you after the closing date, to confirm the result of the ballot. There may be an opportunity for a second window closer to the time.
You have until the end of the ballot period to submit your ticket application - it is not first come, first served so you don't need to rush to make your request as soon as the ballot opens. You can apply at any point during the ballot opening and closing dates.
As the tickets will be free of charge, please indicate a realistic number that you would like to apply for. We are expecting a high number of applications, for which we will share our allocation between each applicant accordingly.

Please contact Peter Withams, or your regular contact at Essex in the Community, who will be able to help you with any queries around the ballot system.
