Sunrisers Head Coach Laura Marsh has named an unchanged squad of thirteen to travel down to Taunton for their away fixture against Western Storm in the Charlotte Edwards Cup on Sunday.
The game starts at 11am and is part of a West v East double header, with Somerset taking on Essex Eagles later in the day.
Despite three defeats to start the season, Sunrisers have put in some much-improved performances – none more so than the narrow defeat against Storm in the reverse fixture at Chelmsford. Grace Scrivens hit a magnificent 56 that night, before taking four wickets as Storm claimed victory on the final ball of the night.
Last weekend, Naomi Dattani hit a thrilling 51 from 32 balls at Edgbaston, and she will be looking to carry her form with the bat into Sunday. Mady Villiers missed that game through injury, but she is back in contention for the trip west.
Captain Kelly Castle returned figures of 2 for 19 from her four overs a week ago, whilst Jo Gardner has been a useful asset with both bat and ball, taking wickets in every game so far this campaign.
Amara Carr and Lissy MacLeod will travel with the squad as they near a return to full fitness, with Sonali Patel still side-lined with an injury that has kept her out of action so far this season.
Western Storm come into the game in third place in Group A, having lost to South East Stars by seven wickets last weekend.
