Sunrisers are excited to confirm that we will be taking a playing group out to Desert Springs at the end of the month, where we will face Scotland.
We will be returning to Spain for the second year in a row, and will face Abtaha Maqsood and her Scotland teammates in three T20 fixtures between Thursday 29 February and Saturday 2 March.
Abtaha has been selected to represent Scotland in the training camp, as they return to the location of their successful Women’s ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier in September. Our travelling playing group will be confirmed at a later date ahead of the tour.
Craig Wallace, Cricket Scotland’s Interim Women’s Head Coach, said:
“This camp is a great opportunity to get the group together ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup Qualifiers, and to be able to get in some high-quality practice outside, against quality opposition, which will be a welcome break from being indoors!”
